The ballast pump relay is hooked up between the Peak Surf System Controller and your ballast pumps. One relay is required for each ballast bag, regardless of which type of pump (reversable or aerator). A typical install would require 2 to 4 relays. Make sure to select the correct type of realy for each ballast bag.
This relay has 1 set of outputs, which reverses the polarity to either fill or empty your ballast bag with a single reversable pump.
For safety reasons, each ballast bag relay is equiped with 2 override buttons, one to fill the ballast bag and one to empty it.
Note: A dedicated fuse rated for 10 amp is recommended for each reversable pump relay.
