The surf device relay is hooked up between the Peak Surf System Controller and your linear actuator that extends and retracts your surf devices. One relay is required for each device. A typical install would require 2 relays. If you have an adjustable wake plate, a 3rd relay would be required if you want the Peak Surf System to control that as well.
For safety reasons, each surf device relay is equiped with 2 override buttons, one to extend the surf device and one to retract it.
Note: A dedicated fuse rated for 5 amps is recommended for each relay.
